Description This is the self-retaining bloat trocar used in chronic bloats. Make a small 3/4″ incision in hide. With stylet in place, screw the trocar into position. After insertion, wrap some sterile gauze between the trocar plate and hide, this will raise the rumen towards the skin ensuring a proper seal. Stylet can then be removed to release gas. Sterilize before use.
