In the past, many people of color have faced outdated laws. The wrath of Jim Crow in the South and the terrible treatment of Native Americans are a stain on America’s history. To note, there are some who wish to revert back to the days of old. To be clear, there are many other rights on the line here. Not just for people of color, but for all, e.g. who we love, how we identify ourselves, who we do or do not worship, etc. are all on the chopping block. Turning back the clock is a potential and dangerous threat. Kamala Harris has achieved much more than her mother could have, but those rights too, are now in danger.
